escape from runaway playback

Please refresh my memory. I know there is a fix for "runaway playback" but I haven't had the problem in a while and I've forgotton the fix. (don't laugh, you will be old one day too :)). I know it is very simple but I just cannot remember. Thanks!

You can press the "BREAK" key to try and force a system stop and reset the soundcard drivers.

Each keyboard is different... so try this on normal playback and see which key combo it is on your keyboard... some might need the shift-key... or some other function key also... the BREAK key is usually up in the top right section of the keyboard.
