hi Bob,

can i load VST instruments in SAWMidiWorkshop?
and
anything new in Video WorkShop add-on to SAWStudio? :)

That was a good start Andrew...

Bertie, the VSTi plugs actually still plug into the SAWStudio MultiTrack tracks, not the MWS tracks... the SAWStudio engine is what handles the audio output...

The link between the two is made through the VST plug options as Andrew stated... click on the blue pyramid logo at the top of the VSTi Synth window and select the Midi In Port... you can select a physical port and play the synth live or select one of the MWS Virtual Ports...

In the MWS, you can set up a few of the Virtual ports as port assignments and make the link between the two by selecting the same MWS Virtual Port.

Then you can play and record midi data as if the synth were a physical module... all of these links are saved when you save the session so opening the session later is instant and you are off and running.
