I did some mixes at 24 bit 88.2.
I loaded them into Saw to do some mastering.
I selected Levelizer as I usually do.
I tried building mix to a new sound file.
I selected to save the new sound file at 16 bit 44.1.
When I played it back the file contained noise that sounds like sea surf - very noticable, very loud during soft passages and at the end fade outs.
The multi track was setup at 24 bit 88.2 when it was doing this.
If I changed the multi track to 24 bit 44.1 and tried the rebuild there was no noise.
This wasn't a rare glitch - it has happened over the past few months every time I did 24 bit 88.2 to 16 bit 44.1 mastering.
It doesn't matter where the Levelizer is patched.
I never noticed this before - is this a bug?
