I am trying to create a video using a few stills (pasted a gazillion times) and a sound track. I'll convert it to MPEG or some such after render to AVI.
When I try to insert image file, (.jpg) to the Vid track SS crashes. I have made sure I'm inserting at a frame start.
29.97, no audio in the MT yet.
Does the .jpg need to be at the Vid resolution set in the viewer? Like 720 X 480 etc? What am I doing wrong?
Current versions of all RML stuff, though nothing else is loaded.

I know it's Saturday night, and everyone in the whole world has a gig tonight except me, but I was really hoping to hash this out so I could build this vid while my boy sleeps. I can get nothing done when he is awake. (6 yr old).

I'm working at home tonight, but sadly, I have no answer for you at all.... just a wish of good luck with the solution.:)

On my computer saw comes with a warning when I try to insert a jpeg
with a higher resolution than the native video resolution.

So I guess you need to rescale your fotos before using them in saw.

You could go to http://www.grassvalley.com/login?r=/support/downloads/demos and download the edius demo, its full working for one month.
in a video editing program there is no limitation on size and so on, and you
can rendered to a mpegHD file afterwards to keep a better resolution.

That was it. Worked fine once I adjusted the resolution.
Thanks!
