Just posting more success stories.:)
Upscale weddings do not allow much room for anything. The sound guy is never involved in planning.The band was stuffed way in the back(between the speakers on stands) and I had no FOH position to speak of. Thanks to BOB, I can run sound from a netbook anywhere in the room and the wedding planners,videographers, catering staff, guests don't have to trip over a snake and be cautious of a large console in the middle of the room.

I usually receive several compliments a night from the band and guests on the sound. I explain the system to 10 people a night on average. Maybe I should carry some printed brochures to hand to people when they ask what video game I am playing.:p

I've found the switch to SAC very handy for weddings. I mix from a netbook that sits on top of a tall folding "table" that I make up from a keyboard stand and an amp rack flightcase lid. Very small footprint....:)
