I'm not sure why you are asking this question

If I had all that stuff, I would probably sell off everything but the mic preamps and -maybe- the better compressors, the use the loot to invest in better converters for my SAW/SAC system. Maybe I would upgrade my computer, too, and re-package the whole thing to make for easier/more efficient field use.

In the past few months I sold off a few items that I realized I was not likely to use and did some system upgrades with the money.

You might first PM me and get my address to send me the Eventide FX for free. After that it's all downhill.

I feel bad with my two Behringer tube pres, 1 StudioProjects mic, VG99 and 4 electrics, 1 bass and 1 Taylor acoustic and a Layla. Oh and some VSTis and drum programs. I've been in the box so long I don't know my way out.

Yeah, my first impression, forgive me for being blunt, was, "What a load of junk...". But that is not fair. It looks as if someone went to the local music store frequently over the last 15 years and bought what the salesman told them to buy. And I'm the wrong one to ask, as I sold of 80 rack spaces of 1176s, 160xes, White and KT eqs, etc, to get away from my own pile of junk, replacing lots and lots of stuff with much less much higher quality stuff.

So that would be my answer... have a yard sale, donate to charity, get rid of the worn dated stuff, and put the money into a fund. Re-plan the setup to fit current needs, and buy with an eye toward the future rather than right now.

While some of it is consumer grade junk, there are several pieces that would fetch big bucks on e-bay; so make sure to do your research.

That's the same list of stuff listed in a gearslutz post from 2009 about MGMT's album:

Interesting. That list from 2009 is exactly the same....
Perhaps because of newer improved technology, others are still asking nearly 2 years later, "what would you do" with that stuff. :)
Some of it is certainly worth selling - and probably the sooner the better.

I'm curious about that Gates SolidStatesMan AGC. We've got an old Gates FM-10H3 Transmitter that uses a SolidStatesMan TE-3 Exciter.
