Bob,

Would it be possible to make the dsp percentage indicator have some sort of intertia to it? Ive noticed it seems to jump around so fast I can even tell what the value is.

It seems damn solid to me.... ever watch nuendo or samplitudes cpu meter? It can go from 10-80% in a blink of an eye. or from 5%-100% and crash you session!

i still like the idea, even though ive rarely seen the meter move more than 2% at once.

You need the "Slow percentage indicator" plugin from Jon Marshall Smith. It's free. Just load it in a blank track and you're set. You may get some latency though.

Jesse,

Try setting to higher buffers for a test and see if the meter settles down. Try 3 x 512 or something like that.

With small 64 or 128 buffer settings, sometimes you will get the jumping around that you mention... depends on a lot of system factors... but not quite sure which ones yet. :)

Ok maybe thats it. I do have my buffer at something crazy like 8x128.

I m trying to get it lower though but ill try bigger settings as well.
