Hi,
Love to work in sawstudio. :)
But now I got one problem, my freind are a proffesional mixer and will mix my songs analog.

But I have to make every track begin at the exact same time.
So I have to glue my regions togheter and make each track as one file,
that begins exactly at the same time. He says.

So he can import them into his program (protools I think)
and then to the analog consule and studer tape machine.

How do I do this without get any sound loss?

Can I rote each track rack internal and rerecord it ?
I did a mixdown to a new sound file and it didnt sound the same to me.

Someone who can tell me how to do?

Dont tell me to mix it in the box please ;)

Best regards

Use the Export Tracks To SoundFiles option on the Process/Mixdown menu. Read the helpfile menu reference guide to learn more.

Hi Bob and Microstudio.

Did a first simple test I took Five Miles Out, with Mike Oldfield.
And used export tracks to soundfile WITHOUT mixer processing.
Now it sounds the same to me.
I will read about it as you said bob. I have done some premixing on my song in sawstudio with pan and volym ,that I want to save to the export track. Do I have to use the mixer processing for that?

I hope you understand my bad school english writing ;)
Tanks for the best sounding program.. everybody wonder what program I use.. I say I use no protools for tracking ;)

Best regards

If you want the panning, volume changes, etc. then use export with mixer processing.

Great! :)
Thanks everyone!
I think I will stick to Sawstudio in the future. I have tested a lot of programs and Sawstudio are the best sounding one.
And its so simple to use. Even for a analog man like me! =)

Bob IS the man! =)
