Has there been any issues with mother boards that use the intel 865PE chip set?
While checking on new mother boards it seems that if I want 4 or 5 PCI slots the only boards available with that many all have the 965 chip set.
All the newer boards with the 915 & 925 chips sets have those weird mini PCI slots that no one seems to be making sound cards for yet.
Also they don't have AGP slots for my trusty old Maxtrox dual head card.
Now I'm starting to remember why I hate up grading my computers. We always seem to be stuck somewhere between the old & the new tech stuff.
I want a faster computer but I don't want to buy new video cards, new sound cards, & new interface cards - and no way am I giving up my UAD 1 cards because I don't have enough slots to plug them into...
