Insert timeline bar

Hello: Looked over the manual and could not find solution. (hope I missed it)

Background: In some midi sequencers, it is possible to add time to the time line. Such as add one bar.

Situation: In Sawstudio, imagine several tracks with many regions in various places in the tracks, i.e. a typical mix. The composer wants to add 1 or 2 bars in the middle of the tune at bar 5.

Question: Is there a simple method in Sawstudio to just add a bar or two of time (line) at a designated location for ALL the tracks. If there is a procedure involved, I would be interested in what is typically done.

Yes... you can use the slip Track function... select all tracks and mark from the insert point to the end (Shift-End)... then place your cursor at the new destination (1 bar away... use the grid in Tempo mode)... then activate the Slip Track function... that will shove everything down one bar... including cue locations, automation... etc.
