Ok... cleanup is well underway... still more to go, but this should give us a good re-start.

Please read the new Rules Of Engagement message at the top of the Announcements section. This will be enforced.

Let's see if we can maintain order and maturity this time around.

I have a new SAC update very close to release which solves many of the known bugs and also adds a few new enhancements... many more of the big features are soon to come... I will be attempting to maintain a fairly steady update schedule, as time permits, until the majority of SAC features are in place.

I also have updates to plugins almost ready to go... and some new plugins getting very close to completion.

So... things are on the move here and lots of new possibilities are on the horizon if things go according to plan... we'll see.

Meanwhile... let's keep the SAC excitement alive... and please play nice in your freshly cleaned forum.

Hey Bob, glad to see you back! A shame you had to post rules for the "how do I say this nicely - oh, I guess I can't!" bunch. Looking forward to new and cool stuff as always.

Had a gig a couple of weeks ago, last minute, guy says "we need 4 additional monitor mixes with different effects, etc." So I give him the "no problem" smile Gotta love SAC!

Happy to see the Forum return. Looking forward to great info and feedback.

I am one happy person to have chanced on sac and used it successfully without listening to the Phd holders "Pull Him Down" Thanks to Bob for the RULES!

Nice to see the forum back up. I'm content with the latest update but I do like surprises. Looking forward to more advancements.

Any chance of seeing any of the old USEFUL threads or do we just need to start over?

Glad the forum is back, Bob. I find I miss the collective audio knowledge of this forum as much as SAC-specific knowledge. This forum has definitely shorted my audio learning curve.

Glad your back!

Working on the last few items now.

There will be another to follow with some of the major feature additions very quikly, I hope... of course its hard to predict the schedule of these things... so many other things seem to get in the way.

I thought I read somewhere about a possible "summer sale"..... I'm just about ready to purchase SAC, and I would hate to see a sale the next day!

Never been a sale on SAC I've been aware of ($500 is pretty good, why make it cheaper?). OTOH, SAWStudio has been on sale to SAC users a couple of times.

The sale will most likely involve discount pricing on SAWStudio Full and Lite... SAC is already priced way low to be discounted any further.

There ya go.....I'll order that puppy now.
I will wait for the sale to go from Sawbasic to Sawlite....:p

I'm always over on the SAW side of things.... I've seen the xmas sales, and just assumed they might be on SAC, too. I never spend anytime on the SAC forum, I've always been afraid!!! All hell breaks loose over here!!!

SAC went on sale for Christmas a couple of years ago. I bought it 2 days before it went on sale. :-(

Still a bargain.

This is really awesome, as this will put the "nail in the coffin" in favor of using the subwoofer console.

Frank wrote, "I love what you've done with the place. :D"

Ditto. Things have really improved around here. Good job.

What does that do?

RBIngraham

What does that do?

From what I remember it was to allow one to latch faders from the outputs of one mixer to the outputs of another mixer. For example latch output 1 on your FOH output, with output 1 on any of the monitor mixers that you might be using for a subwoofer mixer or any fill mix, etc...

This would allow you to have one fader that brings all those outputs up and down together but still let you create complex mixes using monitor consoles fed from post fade mixes from your FOH mixer.
