View Full Version : better luck with xp and old grey-haired thinkpad

Previously posted on trying to use SAC with Macbook Pro running windows 7 with bootcamp.
Couple folks said can the Mac, and try xp/laptop. Well, by buddy gave me an old thinkpad R51p. Put a firewire card in the PCMCIA slot, and so far so good. 0 slipped buffers. Load is around 6%-7%. Hard to believe!!:cool:

PS... got SAC/Sawlite sync thing happening in second room. Too Cool. I may very well be selling every hardware mixer I own. Look out EBAY:D
