Thanks, Bob. Very exciting! Is SS still good with the new version?

Excellent, the fixes I'm most interested in seem good here. Thanks for the release.

In the announcement you mention being almost ready for 3.1. Any chance we can get a teaser on the features you intend to have included since it's so close?

I'd rather wait to see which ones actually come together and end up in the release.

Hi,
New tablets with Windows 8, such as this one: http://www.zdnet.com/lenovo-thinkpad-tablet-2-runs-windows-8-pro-includes-keyboard-for-799-7000004666/?s_cid=e539

will be coming out soon. Do you foresee supporting them in the near future (let's say, 6-months time frame)?

Thanks.

Hopefully Win 8 will work out fine. Depending how fine... perhaps there could be a touch friendly remote version... we'll see.

Bob LIs Windows 8 reversing some of the issues you were having with Windows 7?

Just downloaded the installation File SAC_30.exe.
After doubleclicking and starting the setup the files start to unzip until i get the following message from Winzip Self-Extractor:

Could not run Setup.exe

Downloaded File again and get the same Problem.

It happens on my Testing Laptop with Windows Vista. Previos Installations of SAC always run fine.

Any hint?

My guess would be you may be downloading it to the desktop where other setup.exe files may reside.

Make sure to download it to a separate install folder. Then double-click it from there.

Also... make sure SAC is not currently running when you do the new install.

Thank you Bob,

installing from a separate install folder worked.

Just getting around to doing the upgrade. Thanks for adding that +Gain fix for the mackie profile, that'll make life easier for me.

Is the recalling scenes by midi idea still on the horizon by chance?

Yes... now very near the top of the list.
