Currently only the native Delay plug is remoteable. For reverb assign some of your favorite settings to AUXs ot the host and use the remote to control the amount.

You don't need to be using only remoteable plugins. At the early stage of mixing use the mstsc.exe (desktop remote) and you will be just fine.
Setup 256 color,no animated menues...or whatever and that's it.You can adjust the reverb and any other plugin, jump back and forth from remote desktop to your remote SAC, while not needing to click on the blue triangle to keep the plug updated..

The native eq and Bobs frequency analyzer and levelizer are all remote aware.

Most VST and DX plugins can also be used on remotes... with certain limitations... pop them up... make changes, then right-click the blue pyramid icon at the top of the plugin window and it will update the host settings. Meters will not be active, since no audio data actually passes thru the remote engine.
