Cursor bug or design?

hi Bob, :)

i noticed that when i select and highlight a wavefile in MT and i start playing it in the loop mode while playing the cursor does not let me put it in the specific area!? The cursor just plays itself from beginning till the end and i don't have control over it!?

Is this by design or else? :)

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you... of course the cursor position can not be set or changed while the MT is playing in any mode... the MT play engine has control of the cursor.

If you are reffering to the feature of live jumping the play position by clicking in the ruler area, then, by design, that function is locked out while a loop play has locked the cursor range.
