For some people like me experiment problems with aardvark products (direct PRO 24/96, Q10, and other) I found this site made it by an user (the aardvark support technical have dissapear! of the world) :http://asg.hopto.org/
The problems that I have is probably the bad drivers in Direct Pro for XP system , in XP dont work fine in win 98 was minus problems with the same Sound card, I Try many combinations like ASIO in SS and Multimedia in SSm i both cases and different combinations of buffers. The system sometimes Crash in the playback or record, other situation where system crash is when I make a stand by for a 5 minuts for example , when I return, the system is crashed.
I reinstall like new winXP and all software and actuall drivers, I try with new SATA Hard Drive and more RAM like 1 GB. but the problems continuosly
My system :
- Direct PRO 24 /96 with last drivers actualized
- Pentium IV , 1 GB RAM, SATA hard disk, IDE hard disk
- Sound blaster for MIDI Platinum
- XP system SP2.
