upgrade to SAW full

Thinking about going FULL. Could someone remind me again the easiest way to
update the program on my computer without loosing all prefs, F-keys, files paths and VST's.

I believe it will install over your existing version and leave all that intact. But if you're as paranoid as I am about those sorts of things, all those items are located in the SAW"Whatever" folder on your system drive.

Just archive them and proceed.

SAWStudio full will install in a new folder by default... you can then copy your F-Keys and VST folder files into the new one.

I do not recommend copying prefs because things can be quite different with the extra devices and chans.

Also, be aware that when you open older edls, the extra input chans will end up at the end of the console views after the original number of out chans... you can reset the chan order to automatically re-order everything... or manually move whatever groups of chans you want to a new location... then resave the edls in Full and they will stay thet way.
