Plextor DVD burners can be had for about $30. Are they still as dominant as they used to be?
I already have a Blue Ray burner but am often asked to burn multiple CD's and with Nero, I can burn 2 at a time so I'd like to have 2 in my new build.
Thanks for any input.

Thanks Butch, that's useful info.
Are you labeling with the Epson Artisan printer?

I use the Primera Disc Publisher II, very convenient! Burns and prints label on up to 50 discs while you are sleeping :D
Of course it's a bit more expensive than a CD drive or two, so depends on how much CDs you produce...

Usually I"m only doing one offs. On rare occasions, I'm asked to do a dozen or so. The Primera would be over kill. Thanks Gubbo.

Now using Nero with 3 LG BluRay burners in my desktop tower. Burn 3 discs simultaneously at 40X speed. Print discs on Epson R 300 which I have always despised, but it still works if you hand feed it. Just produced 6 76 minute discs in about 30 minutes. Multitask while I babysit printer.
I have a tower duplicator with 7 drives down in the basement, but usually job out orders of more than 10 discs because of the printing bottleneck.
