Bit depth of the mixing buss

Bob... can you explain the mixing buss bit depth? I see specs like 64 bit floating-point, which I understand translates to 48 bit fixed point?, which is the dynamic range of the mixing buss. How does SAW/SAC handle the channels mix buss.

This has been explained in detail in previous messages... essentially I use integer math and the max bit depth is 64 bits directly... which allows my buss to sum up to 128 tracks of audio at full digital max level before internally clipping... this plays a large part of the difference in audio quality compared to other floating point systems.
