In the Windows 10 Security Center, there is a feature that is supposed to improve performance. They call it Fresh Start, and it does a "clean" re-install of Windows 10, in the process removing various applications (some of them bloatware from computer manufacturer). Has anyone here used this, and if so, did it do its work without trashing SAW/SAC and associated plugins and drivers?

Carey,

How big is the drive where SAC/SAW are installed.

What I suggest, is that you get a similar-sized drive and clone it. These use the clone to "test things outs".

If it does not, then the original drive is left intact.

Before running "Fresh Start", check drive capacities, and then do the same after you have ran the "Fresh Start".

Note: This procedure has always worked for me and I heartily recommend that you do this.

Also, have a peep at this: Now Available: Start Fresh (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_repair/now-available-start-fresh-with-a-clean-install-of/55a2f3c7-4795-4685-b3ee-20187684c511)
