Hey gang, just wanted to say I took the plunge and moved up from SSB to SSL.
Honestly, in all my years of recording, I've only ever done one or two songs that needed more than 24 tracks. Then came my present project...... uuugh. Lots of multi-layered harmony vocals, tons of guitar tracks, you name it.
Well, it sure was nice to migrate my EDL to SSL. Instead of playing the "automation crazies" I just moved a few things around and wound up using 29 tracks. I think that's a personal record. What a relief to have the extra room!
Not to mention, I mixed the song down in no time flat. Man, I love this program!
Now to try out the layers on my next tracking session! :) Or the copyable track FX. I think I'm gonna like this!
