Jeanne,
Every now and then, I find answers on this forum to be a wonderful augment to the PDF Manual & Video.
Occassionally, I like to save excerpts for reference...
What's the easiest way (besides ol' cut and paste) to save a post and also a thread?

Hi Carl!

You have a couple of options in addition to copy and paste:

a) You may wish to try subscribing to threads of interest. There is a 'Thread Tools' menu inside of each thread allowing you to do this (and also when you start a new thread). Once you subscribe to a thread, you will be automatically emailed each time there is a new post to that thread. Your email will include the text from the new post. You may wish to organize these emails into folders inside of your email client, or save them off as text files.

b) To save an entire thread, you could choose 'Save As...' from the File menu in your browser and save the entire page as an html or text document. The file name will default to the name of the thread.

Hope that helps! :)

Before use save as... you may select from the 'Thread Tools', printable version, to see all messages in one page.
