Greetings Forumsters -
Two new Shades created by "Sym Geo" - known to us on this forum as Yura - are now available for your downloading pleasure.

They are two variations on a completely new - and very GREEN - theme. Yes - that's right - this isn't just a variation on an RML Labs shade with a few modified elements - this is the first totally redesigned shade that I am aware of from a SAW user. My hats off to Yura for undertaking what is obviously a very daunting task.

Screen shots of one of my typical F-key settings across two monitors using Green Shade #1 can be seen here:

Thanks to Yura for creating another cool shade!!

pseudo-legal disclaimer: while I have tested these shades on my system and found them to work great (and look VERY green!) - Total Sonic Media still does not warrant their use whatsoever - so use them at your own risk!

If you have any questions or requests regarding the shade please email Yura via

Best regards,

I must say "not totally redesigned" for 95 %. some auxiliary or rare used
windows are remained as was Lentini's.

what is realy funny, as I aware of my eyes color blindness of green,
I have never been sorry about it till this moment.
After the shade was done, I invited my friend to whatch my work and
to tell his opinions (he has a perfect color vision).
I was Realy surprised when he started to enumerate the names of color's tones pointing on different places of my shade. all that seems to me brown he defined as green. (when I was finished Z-console I was shure it yellow
but he said it is light-green!) the button "AUT" of MT seems to me
carrot-red, but he said it's another tone of green!!!. and more and more...
my finish surprise was as I expected main big background is REALY BROWN!
(sym geo) but it turned out to be dark-green as he said... bugagagagagagaga!

That's really something Yura. So you can't see green as green?

A really good job nonetheless.

I really like the following shades from the David Hayes site:

Contemporary_Enhanced_Plus_Special3_blue.shd
WaterWorld_Conservative_Enhanced_Plus_Special_B.sh d

The first one listed (contemporary) is my current favorite. Because I thought you should know. :D

JMS HR EQ now already is turned to 3d look in the best tradition of
Lentini's native plugins. you can get it if you want.

Hi Yura,

I think you made a wonderful job for the HR EQ (even with the green faders :) . I know you probably post it before, but would you mind to show us where to download (and how to install it?)

Best regards,

well. realy I like it too so much (abd because it took a time less in 50 times
than Shade. next I will do Freeverb.
I already have posting HREQ to Steve. but if you need it extreemely( :) )
give me your postbox and I send a demo with this face.

Very thankx for your input about the control room e.t.c.!
I so many times ago did the live recordings so that gonna to forget all ar simply stupid. besides, I used to record some little orchestra, that was need no headphones to them at all. or a single singer with one ballanced mix to me and to him. setup you mentioned is a little more timecosting, but benefits are better. thanx.

Hi Yura,

Thanks for your offering! I guess I can wait a little longer, since I`ve been working with the "old" GUI for so long... but I bet it is going to sound even better with the new shine 3d look! ;)
By the way, I am just finishing my Asus P4P800 up grade. I didn`t remember how much work it was to up grade! Anyway I can`t wait to test it in SS`s live input mode, lowering the RME buffer settings and using the 3GHz P4 processor... :)

Take care,

Yura

Thanks very much, Carey for nice words.

by the way, I gonna make a new shade...
rather in other stile. the main concept - to find a "golden mean"
between slight 3d, not fatigue to eyes, attraction, and comfort for eyes.
for anybody to say: "it is little-little dislike for me".

may be it will finished till september.
