I use O&O for such tasks on windows. Very good defrag software. Lot sof options and extremely good defrag.

Robert, Which defrag method do you use with o&o? I downloaded the demo and have been defragging with access. Should I use something else? Thanks,
Dave

RTFM. I wont suggest one or the other because it depends greatly on your main data access methods and file usage.

Just a quick skim through the manual and you should know what suits you best
