midi track how many have you ran at once

Just looking to see if any buddy has the same setup and how is it`s working for them.

What hardware are you useing to obtain the midi tracks you are runing and did you finish the project. How many ports were used in the project and how many devises were used at one time?

I`ve been able to run only 16 tracks of midi at one time with one port to a keyboard (yamaha Motif es8) in MWS has any one did better and what are you using?

And has anyone able to use more than one port to any one devise and is anyone useing USB midi port to a outboard devise?

The MWS will address 24 midi ports with 16 channels on each. There are 128 tracks that you can split the data over.

Of course in the case of drum modules, you will most likely spread the drum instruments across many midi tracks all assigned to the same port and channel, but for the most part, the MWS is designed to have each track use a unique port and channel combination.
