View Full Version : old vst linker as wrapper?

One of the things that I miss from the transition to SawStudio is the ability to use vst plugins that don't have their own GUI. I used a wrapper application for a while, but it didn't always work correctly and much of the time I did not like the available graphics options.

The JMS fx32 effects linker makes the old SAW vst linker available for use again, but the VST linker lists ALL vst plugins, not just the "unwrapped" ones. In addition, this means that vst plugs that will not work "directly" in SS will still show up in the FX Choices list.

Is there a way that I can make the GUI-less vst plugs show up ONLY in the VST Linker list box, and have NONE of the SS-capable vst plugs show up in that list?

Well... you can create a VST group of good ones in the SAWStudio FXChoices list... eliminating the visibility of the bad ones... but I don't remember such an option in the linker.
