Also thanks for widening access to your input through this forum.

I'll have to get my hands on one...

Was it just a press release mention or did someone talk about it in an article?

There is a book I hold and red on my russian by Medvedev.
at all - very detailed and professional "manual" of SAWstudio.
some of useful advises. Iven the instruction how to set Win 2000
for SAW. SAW here compares with a racing car.

SAW here compares with a racing car.:) Yea, Bob's often compared the program to a blow-your-hair-back spots car! Sometimes I feel like the guy in the Maxell ads.

Glad you're getting the proper information.

Hey Bil, I was at the EM website and theres no mention of the article.. What Month do you have June or May???

Carey -
It's the June issue - p.44 - and the mention is very brief - it says:
"Systems like Nuendo, ProTools, SAW, and every other DAW give us unprecendented speed, accuracy, and flexibility in editing audio"

that's all - but at least it didn't get lumped together with "every other DAW"

Best regards,
Steve Berson

I think it was electronic musician who had an in depth iterview with a guy named william hutt who did his whole album in SAW. Currently on the stands.

Since it is a pretty basic mention, I'll add that the May issue of Mix mentioned SAWStudio in their spot on control surfaces on page 42.

Nice to see.
Dave.

Basic indeed... I'd say that having the word SAW in your text is about as basic as it gets. :D

I'm really excited now... I expect that sales will go through the roof with magazine support like that.

Well Bob, I've been on EQ mag's case to do a review of SS. So far, no luck, however. I'm afraid they're too busy doing glorified product ads instead of actual critical reviews.

I wonder if TapeOp would do an interview and story on Bob and Saw.

I wonder if TapeOp would do an interview and story on Bob and Saw.

I think Tape Op would definitely be interested in the story if they were made aware of it because Bob has had such a long engineering history and was one of the true pioneers and innovators of PC Native DAW's. Anyone know Roman Sokol or Larry Crane here? Actually - maybe I'll get in touch with
them and see if they have interest in something I'd write!

Best regards,

Steve,
That's a great idea!

I just realize SAWStudio is the type of gear people at tapeopamp likes, you know that missing analog vibe.

Bob, have you thought advertise SS in tape opamp? I do not think it is expensive , especially in the classifieds section. I'm sure lots of people will get very interested.

Regards

Alex G.
