S/ware Tuner........

Guys-
As always, sorry if this is an old subject...........

Do you know of a good s/ware tuner for guitars?................I found a shareware app (Deisan)
which is very finicky........I can get the 'needle' to respond to my acoustic's pick-up, but the response is nothing like my hardware tuner............is s/ware a doable option, or am I stuck
with hardware?

Try Audio Phonics (http://www.bigrockeng.com/apgt.html)

It is free, has many useful features and responds pretty good if I remember.... Of course any tuner, hardware or software responds better plugged in than with a mic.
