Hey gang,

Sorry if I haven't been too active in the forum as of late, I've had my nose to the grindstone on a number of projects.
Anyway, March is my second anniversary of purchasing SawStudio, and I must say, it's been a hell of a ride!

I just got some interesting news: Apparently one of my recordings, Betrayer's "Shadowed Force" just entered the college charts. Not really earth-shattering, by any means, but nonetheless, it's a small milestone for an engineer coming up from the bottom.

Congratulations Oz - great to hear some more success stories.
Anyway -
I think I've outdone you guys - I started on just plain ol' "SAW" in early 1994. I'm completely astounded by how far it has come in those 12 years.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

Congrats Oz! Great to hear of your success up in the homeland. Steve beats me on years, though. I didn't get in until SawPlus v1.8. 1995 or 6?

Back in 95/96 I was working with the "Digital Wings" system from Metalithic systems... man, was that ever rudimentary! I wish I had skipped the BS & just went with the original SAW. Oh well... it only took 8 years for me to come around.....

Same here Steve. Sometime in 1994 I got the two track version of Saw which is now called Saw Classic.
Went to 6.4 when ever it was that it came out then to Sawpro around 1998.
Two years ago this month I finally broke down and you sold me SAW STUDIO LITE.
I was a hard headed hold out for almost 3 years...;)
I know 6.4 came out in 1996 but when did the first 4 track version appear?
I remember using the 4 track version in 95 but I don't remember when it first became available.
