Mix template files ?

Ok I actually read the manual on this one , the Mix template file does NOT save the layers in it ??? , I was expecting it to save ALL settings/tracks as they exsisted in the screen ( I have multiple takes on different layers some with a click some without )
I am USED to having mix's/templates be what is actually set at the time !!! , It would be nice to have MIX file's that are the current mix/layer/song/settings so that you can compare Mix's/setups.

I know that the current Mix template file does not do this but I'll make a request for 4.0 !! This is a very useful feature that I have used on several other systems and I believe it would be a big contribution to 4.0

maybe just save different EDL's?

Mix templates do not save track data... only the mixer settings and labels and plugin patches.

To save a template including layer data, simply save it as an edl and use that to start a session as a template.
