Graphics not updating

Hi Guys!
It seems that when I make an edit, and splice the two regions together, what I get is audio that doesn't match the waveforms. For example, I will see waveforms but hear no audio and see no waveforms and hear audio in other parts. It seems that the audio is following the edits but the graphics are not??
Any ideas, besides putting my computer out of it's misery?
My card is a Radeon 7000.

Sounds like you over-recorded the soundfile many times and possibly used the same name and therefore are using old peak data files that were not correctly updated.

You may want to open the File View from the View menu and select all files and then use the Refresh Selected Entries PeakData files option.

That should hopefully correct the issue.
