Matrox G450 sale

I am not SPAM-ing. I just know that many of us SAWStudio users don't need 3D graphics and that the Matrox 2D graphics are very well respected by many here. I just bought a Matrox G450 for $6 at the link below and thought some of you may be interested.

Yeah, it's kind of funny. I have a nice amd athlon 3700 setup with 2gig of ram and some speedy sata hard drives, but the old G450 stays in there. Never had a problem with it for SAW and other audio apps.

The spec says win 2000 drivers. Does that mean XP isn't supported?
I currently have a G450 in an NT box that works great. I have a G550 in an XP box, not so good. In fairness the system is functional, and I haven't yet done all the trouble shooting. (move PCI slots etc.) If after that it's still not up to snuff, I may retire the G550 to the wife's computer and put another G450 in.
Also, I've been looking to upgrade the NT machine to XP (if I can get my current one right). But I won't if the G450 doesn't work in XP.

I have been out some and really am not sure if I have it yet. I have several unopened boxes of computer parts waiting for me to put them in use. I'll try to check tonight.

Thank you Dennis, I'm not Tim of course. But it looks like a good find, at the right time for me. I was going to go 2 monitors this Summer and that will help me do that resonably. So I'll be awaitin' your report.

Yes, I did get the card, last Wednesday to be precise. The driver disc sent with it list XP as well to answer another person's question.

The card came late yesterday after I'd left the studio so I was unable to report it.
I still need to put it in a computer to check that it works but I assume it will - It appears to be in good shape.
