Ok I have problems, I can't stop having fun with skins! Here is what I have done so far with the MWS skin to go with my Pro tools skin. I can't do anything with the Grid note icon though...:( But everything else can be edited.

Cool, I'm looking forward to this one. I was just thinking when I installed your PT shade that it would be cool to have the MWS match it. Shade works great.

Actually Matt, you can do the note icon, I've done it twice before (pipenite MWS and Uniform MWS). The bitmap is called MT_NOTES and is an 8 x 3 table of all the different note icons.

No.. I am talking about the note icon that you click to get to all the notes. Its part of the fonts I think. I have nothing in the place where that icon is, MWS just puts it there.

Thanks.

I'm not completely sure we are talking about the same thing here. I think you are refering to the note icon next to the grid button. When you click on this icon a popup table of note icons appears and you click on one of those to select the grid spacing.

That popup table is the MT_NOTES bitmap. MWS places a 34 x 31 pixel section of this bitmap on the Multitrack window. This 34 x 31 pixel section IS the note icon next to the grid button. So if you use this bitmap:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~syzygy/sawstudio/MT_NOTES.bmp

as MT_NOTES in the .dll then that section of the Multitrack window will look like this:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~syzygy/sawstudio/noteicon.jpg

I hope this is the icon you meant.

Ooo....:o I get it! I kept editing the icon on the main interface and it kept changing so I just didn't try to edit the other MT_Notes icon......:o

Great work and you did just what I wanted to do...amazing! I added your work to my download file, man that does the trick... that gold was killing me, but I was just stumped...
