For the past 8 months I've been beta testing the Saw touch screen monitor. It's 30 by 20 and works great - I've only gotten shocked 3 or 4 times and in every case the hospital stay was short. The only lasting effect - I no longer have finger prints.
Look for it to be released in 2007.

(Thought I'd pass this along since we're all posting lies...:D ).

I regret selling my 289, 3/4 race cam, 4barrell Hollie, Dual exhaust 1967 Mustang GT Sprint, cherried out at one point.

Bob, I did read you are still working out the bugs before 4.0 is primetime. But since we are getting close can we a least get a couple of screen shots to see it? If this has already been done could someone point me in the right direction.
Thanks,

What sorta mileage does this new engine get? :p

Bob L
09-26-2006, 09:11 PM
Screenshots won't give you any real clues about what's under the hood now.

The mileage to expect is full recording tape style input monitoring with no external console or TotalMix needed... full control of soloing across output devices so multiple headphone aux mixes can be listened to in the control room with no external hardware needed... aux mixes that can duplicate the main mix or other auxes with one click... across all 72 channels...

Full PFL soloing capability, and solo to another device so the main PA stacks are not interrupted for live work...

Full Session Track exporting for other DAWS... with and without processing... one click away....

The list continues.... that's enough for now. :)

Dial-up + the webminders downloader script = failure

I download any updates elsewhere on broadband, others have used download apps like GetRight.

*tryed downloading today for this post just for giggles, it times out before i can get the levelizer plugin update down, much less if i tryed the whopping 3.xMB app ;)

Jeanne posted previously in another thread she would email anyone on dialup with their updates.

I'm, of course, assuming this offer still stands ;)

Hey Bob take your time and make sure it's right so many companies release product before it's ready and make US the beta testers and it just pisses people off IMO .

Thanks for being thoughtful and concerned about your product.

Seriously though, without any warning, my ISP evaporated into thin air this time last week. 30,000 customers left stranded. Welcome to Telco in OZ.

Had this happen with a web hosting outfit, a few months after it sold "lifetime" deals to several hundred customers, including me.:o Some lessons we learn the hard way.

All of Zimbabwe lost it's connection to the internet last week, because they have no money to pay for the connection. Imagine that, no food, no house AND no internet.

Hey Bob,

Just curious, do you have a general idea of the timeline for 4.0 release? I know it is hard to say while you are wokring through everything, but like I said, just curious. End of October, November, or later?

Did I say I was just curious?

"Screenshots won't give you any real clues about what's under the hood now."

I thought that there might be some accommodation of new buttons for functions, etc. Not a graphics revision per se.

Bob L
10-07-2006, 05:02 PM
Oh... well... not really... although I do have some new window views that I'm working on... so Shades will have to be updated along the way... although the program will default to my versions of the new windows if the Shade you use does not have these graphics included... therefore the program will still function correctly.

Bob L
