Looks like a pretty good setup... I would just add more memory... 2 or 3 GB is better if you are going to run VST's....the memory helps out.

Not bad!

Did you get a good RAM brand?

Ultra is the brand name of the RAM, it is DDR2 and top rated and tested by my brother-in-law who bought some first. The motheboard is the Deluxe model not the premium. The Premium had SPDIF not Firewire. I wanted firewire incase of audio cards. I will be trying video card in PCIexpress16 slot, IWILL (older) 64 bit controller card in PCIxpress slot and the Layla in PCI slot. Two Seagate 320GB Sata 300 drives and DVD writer in Sata slots, and two SCSI drives (10000RPM) in scsi controller along with firewire/usb 320 GB drive. The heatsink I bought is evidentally a monster, I've never seen anything so huge. Just got it but waiting on processor.

If you've got a monster sized heatsink to mount on the processor, make sure you are VERY careful when moving the machine about - it can damage the CPU.

Good luck with your build.
