"Daniel Harris, an intellectual-property attorney at Clifford Chance in Washington, D.C., said the decision "has great consequence for the industry as a whole, not to mention every company that implements MP3 technology."

For Microsoft, $1.52 billion represents about six weeks of cash flow or about 15 cents per share -- a charge that most analysts would likely take in stride...

That's OK cause now Microsoft will sue Fraunhofer for $30 billion for selling them a bogus license plus damages to their "reputation", personal traumatic experiences like Bill gates breaks out in crotch rot rash, squints a lot and starts talking like Kermit-The-Frog:rolleyes:
