Hi,

i was having such a great time using Saw with my new Tranzport... very very fun really and giving me great freedom to record and play...

Long story short... cooling system (Koolance) went down... just for a very short time but the CPU overheated and shut down. First I got the BIOS is not installed message and now only that the "NTLDR is missing Press Ctrl + lt + Del to restart". This is a computer i got from another studio and I have XP Pro on a cd from them but it is not a bootable cd and I cannot use the R for repair option...

That's where i stand... mobo is ASUS P4 C800 E Deluxe

Press Del to run set up and end up in BIOS SETUP Utility...

Can this be fixed?

Really appreciate any help...

Carl

Hi Carl!

I had the same problem and fixed it

I downloaded the ntldr fix from another computer
and burnt it on a cd

then in BIOS I changed the boot order so the CD Drive waw first in the chain
(wouldn´t work otherwise)

NTLDR fix:

Hope this helps

Hi Mark and Anatholi,

Thanks for your help. The problem is fixed and the winner was... improper boot disk... the system boot drive somehow got mixed up when the computer overheated and shut down. we reset the drive and everything is fine.

Cheers,
Carl
