I may be wrong, but it sounds like you formatted it on a ATA66 controller with a 32GB clip?
(or there is a jumper on the drive to limit to 32GB?)
I have a Seagate Barracuda IV that is 40GB, formatted in NTFS it reads 37.2GB

3 months old.... Funny my Fat32 drive all say 37.2 or there abouts
UPDATE:: Thanks John, It was the combination of Jumpers selecting both Slave AND 32g limit on Multiple drive systems.... Man they make you work for it..!! ;)

Did you convert to, or set it up as a dynamic disk, or did you leave it as basic?
WinXP correct?
Dave.
