View Full Version : Custom Channel Fader Tapers
In-FreakinCredible!
What a nice feature. This program never ceases to blow my mind.
I'll take these type of features any day, over some of the stuff other manufacturers are bloating their software with.
That's what I like about SAW, it gives my tools to mix, then gets out of the way!

This is a feature most users never seem to mention... perhaps most never find it. :)

Or, maybe, like I do - with SO many of the fine features in SS - I use it often and just assume it's 'normal' to have it available, without mentioning it! There's SO much in SS, it'd be hard to mention them all!!
Thanks, Bob!!
And Happy New Year (almost!) to all!!
Thanks Eric - I'm one of the "never find it" people - where is it?
cheers

Simple - Logical:
It's in the "Mixer Menu" under "Channel Fader Taper".
Choices are "Standard Log", :Expanded Log", "Condensed Log", Linear, and (my favorite) "Custom" (set up the taper of faders any custom way you want!).
^ What Carl said. I would only add that handles appear by the fader and you drag those to set the taper. If you use the roll over help it will explain it nicely.

Reminds me of the SawPro fade curves.
Ah yes - I have come across them before - thanks for reminding me.
