Request : track advance/delay

Hi Bob - would it be possible to add a track advance/delay button to each track of the MT and MWS so audio and/or midi can be advanced/delayed track by track in real time?

Select all the regions on the track, then zoom all the way in... place your cursor at the front region and use the right arrow key to move 1 sample at a time.... or place your cursor at the delay position you want and simply press the backspace key... make sure the first region is the last one clicked on to make it the key entry.

Lots of ways to slip tracks... and if you first zoom in and position the cursor to any sample position, you can snap the track as mentioned and other ways also...

You can also use the slip track option which does not require you to select regions in Select Mode... you can also select multiple tracks and slip them all in one click or move.... look up Slip Track in the helpfile.

There is also the free JMS "delay compensator" plugin. It will "advance" the track it is used on by the designated (by you) number of samples by actually delaying all OTHER tracks by that amount. This does not, of course, affect MIDI.
