View Full Version : Now this is UGLY ~!~~~!!!

I have an old laptop we setup for playback of sound FX etc. for live shows I finall after 3 days got WIN 98 to recognize a flash drive and the Bringer U-control ( ()&*%W_*(^)(W&ERV )*&V) ) OK !!!

So later I tried hooking up my Tranzport ???? NFL ( guess that one ?? ) it wont work with WIN98 !!!!! the answer
THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
an old mouse that I removed the RIGHT switch lever ( disabled ) and ball so the only function is the LEFT switch !!!

Wala a start/stop control for free !!!

I'm going to use this for the Control track to forward through the timeline !!

i had a band in the studio the other week that used an old keyboard with some cork glued to diferent keys for diferent triggers. i liked the idea ~ hated the band.

I looked at several options
1. Tranzport --- wont work with WIN98
2. usb footpedal , most are more than 1 switch
3. midi foot pedal , same
4. mouse footswitch , $40 ++++

Hell this may only last one gig but I have like 15 mice laying around so WTF ???

Well a drummer will be using it so I dont hold out much hope for longevity !!!!
I cant find a windows 95 disk ????????????????

PS: the laptops drive is to small for XP !!!! , well it's a compressed drive with 3 partitions and I didnt notice until I installed 98SE so one drive has an extra GB OMG of space and thats the Audio drive so ????????????

Besides it took 3 HOURS for 98se to install !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
