What are folks using for 1-2u headphone distro amps?

Both Behringer units have been working great for me... one has 8 phones with an mix A and B... the other has 4 phones with hi/lo and balance.

Does the 4-channel unit have per-channel input like the 8-channel unit does?

Ok, I'll take your word for it. On the behringer website it doesnt show that, or perhaps I'm just blind :o Quite likely the latter.

For $100, it's worth a try

i never could get any of the multi units- [b/team or samson etc.] to be loud enough for drummers. granted they have all been loud bands... my solution ended up being powered computer speakers. they are usually a +/- 3 watt HP amp when you plug in you disconnect the speaker. a little custom input wiring and you'v got a stereo mix. i'v bought some new as little as $15. hit the "used" places and find plenty for $5. if you'r really industrious (read anal) you can pull the guts and put them in a less conspicous box. FWIW- mike

Loudness isn't an issue, it's distribution mostly.

We use er6's, so we can play at a loud volume with no issue hearing the monitor mix.

Hi,

I wouldn't reccomend Presonus HP4. They started making noise (the knobs) after one month of use.
