time-line and recording

My english is not very good but i try ( sorry for faults !!??)
So, when i record a drum pattern and if i look the time line during the record, both are synchro, beat and tempo. But when i play back, after 20 measures the time line is late , more and more. i try to adjust the"record loop back latency adjust " with different values, nothing change...my souncard is with 10ms latency...:confused:

The drum machine would have to be in exact sync to keep the timeline from drifting... so you would have to lock it with smpte chase... have SS generate smpte or MTC and have the drum machine chase....

Otherwise... you can just record the drum pattern freestyle and then go in and adjust the tempo in SS to match exactly by using the tempo map features... or with MWS... the Measure Map features.
