Anyone: How exactly does Windows System Cache work? I see I copy 1.8 GB of files from FW drive to another drive and I have 1.8GB used and doesn't drop under Task Manager. When and how does windows use this? When does it let go> I have File and Printer Sharing turned off. No pagefile.

So is programs or System actually better with SAW? I think mine is System since the high usage under TM. I never have issues.

Program is much better.

Just checked and is Programs, yet 85% right now of RAM. doing nothing.

How much ram do you have, and how large are the projects you normally work on?

I'm guessing it cached Drumcore. Right now with nothing big opened after bootup only around 21000. So very small.
