When listening to DVDs on system I get lower passages at times using DirectX due to no hookup from DVD player to soundcard or bad audio recorded on DVD or something. It's almost on all of em (concerts). I have investigated with the tool mentioned before on forum. Anyone have any idea which is the problem and has anyone else noticed this?

Nothing to do with SAW at all.

If you are running your DVD sound thru the same soundcard you use for SAW (or other DAW) and have the drivers set for low latency buffer sizes... sometimes, DX playback will stutter... you may have to increase driver buffer size settings for smooth DVD playback.

In many cases, a cheap internal soundcard with WDM or DirectSound drivers will work better for that purpose.
