Opened an edl that has an instance of Antares Mic Modeler (DX) on it. Can move the gui around, disable the plug, change mic distance etc. Touch a level, or tube gain and wham! Total system freeze.
Opened a blank edl, loaded the plug, exact same.
Had a thought, (3rd annual) and rebooted to dual CPU instead of one. The plug in the original EDL and any others behave as they should.
I'm guessing it's because the plug was installed in a dual CPU system so when I boot to a single, the plug is trying to allocate work to a CPU it can't find.
Just thought it was interesting enough to post.
Some plugs may show oddities when used in one configuration (ie: single cpu) if originally installed in another (ie:dual cpu).
