Is anyone using 15,000 RPM drives? I assume the performance is that much better again than a 10,000 RPM. Therefore are they worth the extra money.

I'd guess - probably not.

Especially if we're talkin' SCSI. I ran with some of the 10K SCSI drives for awhile, n' they worked but also generated so much heat I became concerned about frying everything in the box.

I'm very happy with my 7200 rpm EIDE drives. Nice n' cool n' quite n' tons o space.
