Anyone used a US-1641 with SawStudio lately with USB 2.0 interface?

I have not tested any of the newer Tascam stuff lately. The earlier stuff definitely fell short in the driver dept... and good drivers are very important for utilizing the realtime latency monitoring features of SAWStudio and SAC.

Hopefully their newer drivers have improved.

Should the demo version of Saw be fully functional to test drivers with the Tascam other than the 2 second gap every 15 seconds?

You will want to be able to get the buffers down to at least 4 x 64 in ASIO mode and remain stable with no glitching even on dense sessions of 30 or more tracks.

Just a little update. Just got the Tascam US-1641 working with the SawStudio Demo. Recorded a Mic input on input 1. I must say that Saw set up quick. Still have not gotten the Cubase Le4 that came with the unit I rented working. It does not see the input.
I have it set to 4 and 64 but have not loaded it down yet. Will be a few weeks before I can do that. Now trying to play with track editing.

Thanks for the update. What are all the parameters of the 1641 that you can control using SAW?
