I can't imagine they'd sound decent. They use the same frequency as the newer cordless telephones, which I personally think suck. Give me back the old 900MHz anyday.
For the same or less money, you can get a rack mounted Behringer headphone amp (I forget the model number) and have a decent piece of gear that you KNOW will work.
Let us know if you try it.

i actually stumbled onto that cleaning out some old browser bookmarks...
curiosity got me
a set of cans ay FOH [to me] is not for criticle listening
with the possible exception of checking a "live to media" mix
i have plenty of IEM transmitters
so i'm not likely to spend 2 bills on that

I stubbornly cling to 900's. Couldn't stand the newer ones at all.
