Recording a live show with SAC/SAW linked...if you have a output buffers dropping, and shift-click the SAC 'live' button to flush the engine, SAW immediately stops.

Obvious solution is 'don't do that', but I wanted to be sure it wasn't representative of a glitch in my system while I continue my quest for lower/faster/more and explore the stability of my rig in different scenarios.

That's expected, right?

Yes... when the SAC engine stops, so does SS... but, you may find that a glitched out buffer in SAC will not glitch the recording which happens right at the source input... depending on what slowed down the engine enough to glitch on the output, the input data may have passed perfectly fine to SS.
